This cave system has hosted tours for approximately 200 years now, not only making it an important landmark for natural wonders, but an important part of history and American society. Your family can learn about the geology of Kentucky and the original tour guides. There’s more to explore than just the cave, as well. This national park has rolling hills above that serve as the home to a large variety of wildlife. Your family can also explore and enjoy the beauty of the Green River valley. This is the perfect place for your family to explore the great outdoors and learn about the environment around them.

Your children will never get bored while they’re here. The campground is fully equipped with all the amenities you desire in a modern campground. You can even host a birthday party at the facility. Bring your family to visit one of Kentucky’s newest exhibits and attractions, the Ark Encounter. This is a life-sized replica of Noah’s Ark. The Ark spans an area of 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. This encounter is a great opportunity for Christian families to experience a living replica of one of the most well-known Biblical stories. Within the facility are three levels of exhibits to explore, as visitors get to experience and see what Noah’s life in the Ark might have been like. This vacation destination is perfect for families searching for a Christian experience. Visitors will learn about the life of Noah, the flood, and the animals that lived in the Ark. There is even a zoo on location, where your children will get to see exotic animals, pet farm animals, and even ride a camel. If you’re looking for a Christian, biblical-centered family vacation, definitely plan your trip to the Ark Encounter.
