God is moving at Deer Run! Lives are being transformed.
You can leave a legacy.
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25
Join God’s story to impact future generations for Christ. Prayerfully consider coming alongside us to invest in making a significant difference in the lives of youth, families, and others seeking peace, joy, healing, and a deeper relationship with God within a faith-based community.
Your tax-deductible donation supports the increasing growth of this ministry. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, we depend on generous donations from people like you to keep our ministry flowing into the hands of others. We truly could not accomplish all that God has called us to do without the faithful support of donors like you. We are deeply thankful for your generosity, and we pray that through your donation you will be abundantly blessed.
Deer Run is a God-inspired camp and retreat center positioned on 150 beautiful, wooded acres. Faith, character-building, community, and adventure are the cornerstones upon which Deer Run was founded in 1998, and while the “why we do it” hasn’t changed, the campers, events, staff, volunteers, and budget have grown to reflect a thriving, year-round ministry.

Deer Run is structured so that operating expenses are covered through program and facility fees. This allows your donations to go exclusively toward: 1) the Capital Fund for expansion of the ministry, and 2) our MISSION 42:1 Scholarship Fund to help families in need.
Capital Fund: The Deer Run story has always been, and continues to be, about God expanding the reach of this ministry. Donating to the Capital Fund boosts new construction, facility improvements, land acquisition, and projects related to direct growth needs, all which are related directly to what God is doing to grow our opportunities for ministry.
Scholarship Fund: In 2008, Deer Run initiated the MISSION 42:1 Scholarship Fund to give back to the community and benefit at-risk children and families in need of financial and emotional support. The commencement of this program was consistent with Deer Run Founder and CEO David Gibson’s belief that no one should ever be turned away from camp due to the inability to pay. No administrative fees are taken from donations given to the Scholarship Fund so that 100 percent of your donation goes directly to help a child or family in need. You can fund a camp scholarship by giving $45 each month for 12 months or $540 per child.
Since its inception, Deer Run has awarded more than 2,200 scholarships to campers and families including many from our community partnerships: Against the Grain, Angel Tree, Boys and Girls Clubs, FrankTown Open Hearts, Greenhouse Ministries, Nashville Rescue Mission, Safe Haven Family Shelter, and Tennessee Kids Belong.

"I have been living with the fear of another tragedy. But I hear the invitation of Jesus to come and find rest. I want to rest in knowing that he will give us what we need."
Respite Retreat, mom of suicide victim
"Driving away from Deer Run Camp yesterday, I was feeling better than I have in months! All I could think was how thankful I am for each of you being a part of my feeling that way. This was the toughest year in all of my 33 years of nursing. COVID has really rocked our world. The school year ended, and I was just absolutely depleted. But after the 2 hours I spent at Deer Run yesterday, feeling the loving spirit of everyone there, I felt completely renewed. The Lord worked through each of you to help heal me in exactly the way I needed! … What a wonderful place for these kids to spend some of their summer. I fell in love with the camp.”
Williamson County School CPR Instructor
"I want us to grow in God together. [My daughter] accepted Jesus into her heart last year and I’d love to spend time in the word and worship with her and be around other families.”
