Spring Festival

at Deer Run Camps & Retreats

$15 per person + $4.95 registration fee per family or group

EXPERIENCE A FESTIVE AND ADVENTUROUS DAY OF CAMP ACTIVITIES WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

Build deeper relationships with each together. You will find yourself laughing, cheering each other on, and creating long-lasting memories.

Activities are for all ages and all family members — from the youngest to the oldest. This is a great way to experience what summer camps, family camps and events are like at Deer Run!

  • Music from WAY-FM & Prizes: Spin the wheel and win some awesome giveaways! 
  • All Included Activities and Recreation choices are listed below.
  • Guided Recreation for an additional fee: archery & BBs range, giant swing, laser tag, pedal karts, and zip lines. See pricing below. Advance sign-up is recommended since these are scheduled at specific times for limited participants.
  • Camp Store: Shop for merchandise and apparel plus snacks and drinks.
  • The Eatery: Open for hand-dipped ice cream, specialty coffees, nachos, pizza, and more!
  • BBQ Dinner available for only $7/person. Includes BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, mac & cheese, Southern style green beans, tossed salad, coleslaw, peach crisp, lemonade, water and sweet tea.
  • Live Music from Ava Goins: Known by her professional name Novelle, Ava is a singer/songwriter who draws inspiration from her own life experiences and faith in Jesus. She has a passion for storytelling and aims to bring glory to God through music.
  • Info Station for Summer Camps & Family Camps: At The Creekside Veranda, you’ll find Deer Run staff who can give you info and answer questions about summer Day & Overnight Camps and Family Camps.

WHAT TO WEAR

Required Footwear for Climbing Tower, Giant Swing, Laser Tag, Pedal Karts, Zip Lines: Sturdy CLOSED-TOED shoes such as hiking boots or athletic shoes. NO open toe shoes, sandals or flip flops. Closed-toed Keens are acceptable.

WHAT TO BRING

  • extra clothing, shoes, and a towel for your children in case they get wet and/or muddy during creek splashin’
  • sunscreen
  • bug spray
  • rain gear (just in case)
  • lawn chairs or blanket and tablecloth (optional): to sit in The Fortress, on the lawn, or at picnic tables around the property
  • Bring your own bait & tackle. However, a limited supply of worms can be purchased at The Camp Store.
  • Fish include large mouth and hybrid striped bass, catfish and bluegill.
  • Fishing is ONLY allowed from the bank and is NOT allowed in the swim area, from the docks, or from a canoe or boat.

If your children are attending WITH ANOTHER ADULT and you will not be present, complete this Family Liability Waiver and have the adult bringing your children give this to Deer Run staff at the check-in table.

Required to participate in Guided Rec activities: tennis shoes/hiking boots OR sturdy closed-toe athletic shoes with a back strap for safety. Keens are great! No open-toe shoes, flip flops, or sandals.

PEDAL KARTS

$8 per person

Pedal-powered fun! Paved track with curves and room to pass. A thrilling adventure, lots of fun, and good stories afterwards.

Recommended for ages 5 & up.

ARCHERY & BBs RANGE

$8 per person

Test your skills at this covered range.

GIANT SWING

$15 per person

After you are pulled 50 feet upward, release your own rip cord and fly high above the game field.

Recommended for age 6 & up.

LASER TAG

Wooded course. Natural bunkers. Includes equipment.
