Set Aside Some Time with Your Son for Father-Son Adventure Weekend

August 22-24, 2025
Friday 4 p.m. to Sunday 11:00 a.m.
Dads truly are a boy’s hero! Boys look up to you, learn life lessons from you, and build a deeper relationship and mutual respect for you by “playing” together and having some fun father-son competitions — both with you and with other guys. This exceptional father-son weekend offers plenty of recreational choices, fun games and more which create life-time memories and a stronger bond.

Deer Run’s private 150-acre scenic wooded property with first-class accommodations just south of Franklin, TN, is a perfect setting for your father-son weekend together. Everything is planned — so just show up, choose the activities you want to participate in, and enjoy yourself!

This father-son adventure is great for all ages and multi-generations! For boys who do not have a dad or whose dad cannot attend, this weekend is awesome for uncles, foster dads, and mentors to be alongside the boys.

Worship Leader Andy Collins

Andy Collins is a singer, songwriter and worship leader from North Carolina, who now resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Andy began performing and ministering at a young age, learning to play the guitar at age 6 and writing his first song in the sixth grade. At the age of 7 Andy asked Jesus to be Lord of his life and knew at a young age he had a calling to serve the Lord. He attended Brevard College, located near the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he majored in music and learned to be a more creative songwriter and performer.

He has traveled the United States and Canada singing gospel, contemporary Christian, and original music. Andy has had the opportunity to serve in several churches as a student minister and music minister/worship leader. Leading God’s people in worship is the place Andy feels most at home. At 16 years old, Sean Emory did the unthinkable—and up to this point—seemingly impossible. Born with a severe speech impediment, Sean could barely talk. One day he walked to the front of his high school cafeteria and performed an impromptu magic show. When he closed, the students erupted in applause. From that moment forward, life for Sean changed. The miracle of that day was not simply in his performance, but the fact that, in front of everyone, he spoke fluently for the first time in his life.

The same faith that taught him to speak and perform, led him to realize he was fully focused on knowledge and not on belief. Sean shares, “I felt I needed to ‘know,’ but then I realized I didn’t have to know—all I had to do was believe.  That was when I knew I was called to be a minister of the Gospel.  From that point to today, I work to use the gifts God has given to reach people for Him.”

Sean created an effect used by many professional magicians today, which made his name a staple in the world of creative magic. This led him to Las Vegas where he studied alongside some of the greatest names in magic, as well as catching the attention of audiences. Sean’s experience there heightened his interest, as well as his work ethic and discipline. But the true epiphany came when Sean realized he could combine illusion with the one reality he was even more passionate about—sharing the gospel of Jesus with everyone he could. Once you see him for yourself, you’ll know one thing: Though trained and skilled in the art of illusion, his heart is all about the Truth.
