Deer Run’s Christian Tennessee Retreat Center can customize retreats for your church, ministry, leadership team, business, school, sports team, or family.

Deer Run’s Guest Services staff work to assist you with details related to accommodations, meeting facilities, schedule, set up, team building, recreation, and meals, so the retreat meets your goals with maximum impact.

Deer Run offers a variety of accommodations and meeting facilities scattered throughout the scenic 100 wooded acres, 5-star meals prepared by our chefs, and numerous recreation and team building options. Deer Run is strategically located within 4 hours of 9 major metropolitan areas making it easily accessible for your retreat.

Waiver of Liability Form must be completed by all attendees of a retreat at Deer Run.

A variety of accommodations are available for your group, family, a personal retreat, or B&B.

The Lodge at Deer Run is a premier facility designed and decorated with an elegant simplicity and the ambiance of a mountain lodge. The great room has with 2-story stone fireplace, each guest room has scenic views of the surrounding woods, and an outdoor fire pit in the backyard — plus upper and lower back decks — provide outdoor relaxation and conversation areas. Reservations for individual rooms at The Lodge or for a cabin can only be made 2 weeks prior to your check-in date. Check-in: 3:00 p.m. Check-out: 11:00 a.m.

Near the recreational areas and lake are a selection of different style and sizes of cabins: Timber Ridge, Lakeview, or Cedar Point Cabins.

All facilities are nonsmoking. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises. No pets. See Retreat Policies for details.

Adventure Rec and Team Building are paid options facilitated by Deer Run staff: Low & High Challenge Ropes Courses, Zip Line Adventures, Obstacle Course, Spring Valley Lake, 45-ft Climbing Tower, 33-ft Leap of Faith, Paintball, BB Guns & Archery Range, Pedal Karts and Giant Swing.

Guests who have overnight accommodations have free access to the Creekside Recreational Area: lighted wiffle ball, lighted sand volleyball, 80-yd game field, Gaga ball, carpetball, cornhole, horseshoes, tetherball, and hiking trails.

Catch and release bank fishing is available at the lake, however bring your own bait and tackle. Canoeing is only available if your group reserves the lake for other recreation.

Check with Deer Run Guest Services for availability and scheduling recreation areas since other retreat groups may be using these facilities.

Deer Run has a variety of meeting and worship facilities available for day meetings or overnight retreats.

Meeting facilities include a basic sound system and flat screen monitor. Flip charts and/or dry erase boards are provided upon request. Our staff set up the meeting space with tables and/or chairs to meet your specifications before your arrival.

Overnight retreats include a meeting and worship facility unless otherwise agreed upon. Your guest services representative determines the appropriate meeting space for your group based on the size and needs of all groups on the property at the time of your retreat.

Meals and beverage/snack service are available for day and overnight retreats. Meals are included with package pricing for group overnight reservations. Both day meetings and overnight retreats include open recreation in the pricing.

Team building and adventure rec options can be added to your day meeting or overnight retreat.
