Premier Retreat Lodging Accommodations

Your retreat planning begins with a variety of lodging choices for your group’s retreat: The Lodge, Timber Ridge Cabins, Lakeview Cabins, or Cedar Point Cabins. Each retreat lodging choice is unique and timeless, practical and well appointed. Our lodging facilities can accommodate a total of 244 persons. Details on each lodging choice are included below. All retreat lodging facilities are purposefully placed within gorgeous, wooded areas of our 150-acre property.

LINENS & TOILETRIES

  • The Lodge: Linens & toiletries are provided.
  • Cabins: Deer Run can provide sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, and basic toiletries for your group for an extra fee. Your Guest Relations Coordinator can provide info and pricing.


BASIC POLICIES

  • All Deer Run property and lodging accommodations are smoke-free environments.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises.
  • Pets and/or animals are not allowed on Deer Run property, including trails or inside facilities/lodging unless they are a trained service animal.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available.

The Lodge at Deer Run is a premier lodging facility designed and decorated with the elegant simplicity and calm ambience of mountain lodges. The great room features a grand two-story stone fireplace, and each guest room boasts scenic views of the surrounding woods. A backyard fire pit is the perfect space for fellowship. Upper and lower back decks provide outdoor relaxation and conversation areas.

This 7,000 sq-ft lodging facility is nestled within the serenity of the forest and provides a haven for rest, rejuvenation, and renewal plus a peaceful atmosphere for retreat meetings and overnight stays. All linens and amenities are provided, and free Wi-Fi is available for your use.

Riversong Suite

  • Private second-floor suite with king bed and two sets of bunks — all with Pendleton blankets, plus a full size futon. Additional cot can be added.
  • A floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace is the focal point in the suite.
  • The large bathroom has two private showers with changing areas and a double vanity with granite top.
  • The suite has an exterior door to the upper deck on the back porch with chairs for a relaxing view of the woods. Exterior stairs lead to the lower back porch.

Fawn Meadow

  • Private set of two second-floor rooms joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom.
  • Queen bed in room 1 with Pendleton blanket.
  • Two sets of bunks in room 2 — all with Pendleton blankets.

  • An exterior door in room 1 opens to the upper deck on the back porch with chairs for a relaxing view of the woods. Exterior stairs lead to the lower back porch.

Woodland Guest Room

  • This spacious private second-floor suite has a queen bed, set of bunks, and a twin-size loft bed — all with Pendleton blankets.
  • Private bathroom.
  • The suite features a large picturesque window which has a breathtaking view of the woods on the back side of The Lodge. The suite has an exterior door to the upper deck on the back porch with chairs for a relaxing view of the woods.

Treehouse Suite

  • This unique private third-floor suite is comprised of two rooms with spruce tongue-and-groove walls which have the feel of a private cabin in the woods.
  • Room 1 has a king bed with a Pendleton blanket and room 2 has a twin size bed with a Pendleton blanket and full size futon.
  • Private bathroom in room 1.
  • Room 1 has an exterior door to a small, private deck on the back of the lodge with chairs for a relaxing view of the woods. Stairs lead down to both the upper and lower back porches of The Lodge.
  • In room 2, french doors provide a view of the first floor and the surrounding woods.

Mountain Dreams

  • A private second-floor room with queen bed and one set of bunks — all with Pendleton blankets.
  • Private bathroom.
  • The room features french doors which open onto an indoor balcony (seating for two) with a view of first floor and the surrounding woods.

Cabin Hideaway

  • This private centrally located first-floor room has spruce tongue-and-groove walls which gives a warm welcome to anyone who loves a cabin-like atmosphere.
  • The room has a full size bed and a set of bunks — all with Pendleton blankets.
  • Private bathroom.

ACCOMMODATES UP TO 32 PERSONS

2 separate bunk rooms accommodate 16 persons each

Deer Run’s newest climate-controlled bunkhouse-style cabin is a two-story lodging facility with two upstairs bunk rooms on opposite sides of the cabin. The bunk rooms can be entered via ground level around the cabin’s back.

Each bunk room has 16 bunks with premium mattresses.

Positioned between the bunk rooms is a meeting space with a 60-inch wall-mounted flat screen TV monitor, a lighted stage area, and room to comfortably seat 50 guests. A private firepit area is located just outside the meeting space.

Downstairs is a second meeting space with a 60-inch wall-mounted flat screen TV monitor, custom-built wooden tables, kitchenette with adequate counter space and storage space, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee station. 

Private restrooms and shower facilities are located on the first floor.

Location: Timber Ridge is conveniently located near The Creekside Eatery & Camp Store, Spring Valley Lake, and Recreational Areas.

2 CABINS: LODGING FOR 12 PERSONS IN EACH
Cots can be added for 2 additional persons per cabin.

Deer Run’s cozy Lakeview Cabins are a premier lodging option for smaller groups who love the lakeside! Each cabin has a queen bed with Pendleton blanket, 4 sets of wooden bunks, and 2 twin loft beds (11 beds total). Linens are provided on the queen bed only.

Each cabin has a dining table and chairs, kitchenette with sink, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as a bathroom nook with 2 private showers, 2 private toilet areas, and a double sink area with large countertop. Thermostat-controlled heat/air and ceiling fans, premium mattresses, and spacious interior provide comfort for guests. A central firepit area with seating is located nearby.

Location: The Lakeview Cabins overlook Spring Valley Lake. The cabins are conveniently located near The Creekside Eatery & Camp Store, Spring Valley Lake, and Recreational Areas.

12 CABINS: LODGING FOR 158 PERSONS TOTAL
Cots can be added in select cabins for up to 7 additional persons.

ALL CABINS HAVE: Thermostat controlled heat/air, ceiling fans, built-in bunks with premium mattresses, and spacious interiors. A central shower house adjacent to the cabins (air-conditioned/heated) provides private guys and girls bathrooms/showers with plenty of countertops, plugs, and mirrors. 

  • Five cabins accommodate 14 persons each (7 sets of bunks)
    No cots can be added in these cabins.
    Kitchenette with mini refrigerator, microwave, and single-cup Keurig machine. (Bring bottled water, Keurig pods, cups, creamer & sweetener. Or talk to your Guest Relations coordinator about adding this service.)
  • Four cabins accommodate 10 persons each (5 sets of bunks)
    Cot can be added for 1 additional person in each cabin.
  • Three cabins accommodate 16 persons each (8 sets of bunks)
    Cot can be added for 1 additional person in each cabin.


Location:
The Cedar Point cabins are conveniently located next to an open-air pavilion with picnic tables, lights, and electrical outlets, along with a central campfire area with seating. These cabins are the near The Creekside Eatery & Camp Store, Spring Valley Lake, and Recreational Areas.
