MEETING FACILITIES

Deer Run has a variety of meeting facilities available for day meetings or for overnight retreats: The Lodge Meeting Room, The Fortress, The Upper Room, The Summit, The Creekside and Timber Ridge. Most meeting facilities include a basic sound system and video monitor(s). Flip charts and/or dry erase boards can be provided upon request. A guest services representative will assist you with details and set-up options.

DAY MEETINGS: Meals and beverage/snack service are available for an additional cost.

OVERNIGHT RETREATS: Meals and a meeting/worship facility are included in your package pricing (unless otherwise agreed upon). Your guest services representative determines the appropriate meeting space for your group based on the size and needs of all groups on property at the time of your retreat. Your representative will work to accommodate your preferred meeting facility, but cannot guarantee a specific facility in advance. The specific meeting facility is confirmed 2 weeks prior to the retreat dates.

OPEN RECREATION is included with day meetings or overnight retreats.

ADVENTURE REC options can be added to your retreat for an additional cost.

CAN SEAT UP TO 40 PEOPLE

The second-floor library/meeting room has an access door onto the upper porch providing ample space for outdoor relaxation and conversation while overlooking the surrounding woods and backyard of The Lodge. The Lodge Meeting Room includes free Wi-Fi, podium, dry erase board, flip chart, AV system with CD/DVD player and a projector with screen.

CAN SEAT UP TO 50 PERSONS

Timber Ridge includes free Wi-Fi, podium, dry erase board and/or flip chart.

UPPER MEETING ROOM: Includes a 60-inch wall-mounted flat screen TV monitor and lighted stage area. A table can be set up for displays or snacks upon request.

LOWER MEETING/GATHERING ROOM: Includes a 60-inch wall-mounted flat screen TV monitor, custom wooden tables that seat 16, kitchenette with adequate counter and storage space, full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee station.

CAN SEAT UP TO 140 PEOPLE

Above the valley, on top of the hill sits The Summit — a meeting facility with 5 garage doors that open onto the adjacent game field creating a great atmosphere for meetings, worship and flow of your group onto the game field. Nearby is The Upper Room Meeting Facility, the Challenge Course Initiatives, High-Challenge Ropes Course, Leap of Faith, GaGa ball, tetherball and a small game field.

The Summit Meeting Facility includes a lighted stage with podium plus dry erase board and/or flip chart, basic audio system with microphone, sound board, CD/DVD player and 70-inch flat screen TV.

CAN SEAT UP TO 100 PEOPLE

On the hilltop above the valley sits The Upper Room — a meeting facility with 3 garage doors that create an inspiring atmosphere for open-air meetings. This facility has a lighted stage with podium, dry erase board and/or flip chart, basic audio system with microphone, sound board, CD/DVD player and 70-inch flat screen TV. Near The Upper Room is The Summit Meeting Facility, the Challenge Course Initiatives, High-Challenge Ropes Course, Leap of Faith, GaGa ball, tetherball and a small game field.

CAN SEAT UP TO 70 PEOPLE

The Creekside Meeting Facility can be used as one large room or divided into two smaller rooms. The meeting space includes free Wi-Fi, podium, dry erase board and/or flip chart, and a table for displays/snacks. Meeting Room A also includes a basic audio system with microphone, sound board, CD/DVD player and a 70-inch flat screen TV. Meeting Room B also includes a 40-inch flat screen TV.

The Creekside is positioned in the hub of the recreation areas — climbing tower, archery & BB guns, wiffle ball, sand volleyball, giant swing, and zip line adventures. It serves as both a dining facility and group meeting space.

CAN SEAT UP TO 400 PEOPLE

The Fortress is a large, open-air meeting facility during the milder, warm-weather months from May to mid-September. For the cooler months, mid-September to April, a heated tent provides an enclosed meeting space.

The Fortress Meeting Facility includes a lighted stage with podium, dry erase board and/or flip chart, basic audio system with microphone, sound board, CD/DVD player and two 60-inch flat screen TV monitors.
