“We have been once before and had an amazing time and knew we wanted to come back! It was just as great (if not better) than our previous trip in 2014! Amy did an incredible job. She was efficient, flexible, and kind when we had specific requests. She made it very easy for us to plan our trip. My students really appreciated the love and servant hearts of Josh and Nathaniel and all of the rest of the recreation staff. They joined in when the students asked and made our students feel right at home at Deer Run! Everything was delicious. The special dietary needs of my students were met, the portions were great, the variety was amazing. My youth raved about how delicious the camp food was. They were very impressed.”

Our cabins were immaculate and easily accessible. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised. Our group was expecting cafeteria food, and what we got tasted more like “home-cooked.” Great job, kitchen staff! We had a great time, and we truly appreciate the staff working with us as we planned our very first overnight 5th grade trip. We did not know what to expect, or even what we were doing as we were planning, and your staff was so willing to work with us. Our students had a wonderful time. They are STILL talking about the climbing tower, the food, and the s’mores.”

She makes the entire process easy! Meals at Deer Run are a treat and a blessing! To pray alongside the servers before a meal is not something we take for granted. Their attention to detail is extraordinary and every meal is delicious. Their willingness to accommodate our gluten free guests is also greatly appreciated. Deer Run is so luxurious! Our ladies are always so complimentary of the accommodations. We have compared prices at other locations and they cannot compete with the accommodations, meals and service we receive from Deer Run. ”

“I was impressed with the quality of staff that I encountered. They were polite, helpful and pleasant as well as competent. The food services people did an outstanding job with the food we ate. The meals that I chose were of a quality that I would expect from a high-end restaurant or resort. And those who prepared our food were so accommodating. The rooms were spectacular and clean. Even the towels were folded like a high-class hotel. We are very pleased with the spaces, the rooms, the food and the people. The food was superb! It was tasty, the presentation was appealing and the portions were plentiful. Each room at the Lodge is attractive and conducive to a good night’s rest. My mattress was very comfortable. The conference room was equipped with what we needed for our group and served us well. Yes, this was a huge success for our group. This was the first time that all of us were together and The Lodge was a great place to build relations as well as to plan for the future. ”
“What a great facility. Everyone enjoys the large spaces, the meals and the wonderful rooms. It is just perfect for us. Our supper was delicious and the breakfast was amazing. The price is very reasonable for everyone that comes. The meeting room and the family room are perfect for our presentation and games. We love being pampered. Honestly trying to organize 35 women in a volunteer setting is crazy and Deer run make it much easier for me.”

She makes sure that all of our details are in order, and she does a great job passing along our requests to the on-site staff. Due to the size of our group, we often have some specific requests, primarily related to food. The food services staff did an excellent job taking care of those requests, and the meals were great! As always, the lodge and cabins were in wonderful shape. We loved our stay as usual! Deer Run exceeds our expectations each year, and we look forward to attending again!”
“This is place offers so much to for our group… the opportunity to “be still” and listen to each other, a terrific large facility to conduct trainings (inside or out), the FOOD was amazing, and plenty of comfy beds for everyone! The staff were wonderful to work with and worked hard to make sure our every need was met. We will be back next year! April was amazing!! She thought of things that we needed before we did!! I was so comforted that not only did they remember our group from the previous year they understood exactly what we needed!
