9-Month Program: Begins each August & ends mid-May

Age 18 to 25

Our Mission: To prepare for the next level of leadership with a biblical worldview, unwavering integrity, and relentless perseverance.

Participants will learn to recognize and understand God’s truth while living onsite and receiving hands-on ministry training at Deer Run Camps & Retreats. They will also read leadership books, listen to podcasts, attend conferences, memorize Scripture, and more!

This immersive gap-year experience for young adults focuses on spiritual, vocational, and leadership development with an emphasis on deepened discipleship, character, and community. Participants will learn to live with purpose, imitating Jesus in all aspects of life.

Participants will complete BaseCamp equipped with a strong biblical foundation and practical leadership skills to launch with confidence into the world, boldly living out their faith and sharing the love of Christ in any field or vocation they pursue.

Level up your leadership and be a part of how God is at work through the ministry of Deer Run, a 150-acre camp and retreat center in Middle Tennessee just outside of Nashville.

PAY & COSTS

PAY

Interns are paid $14/hour or a stipend depending on service need.
Work/service hours range from 32-40+ hours per week depending on camp needs.

COSTS

$140/week for housing and utilities
$50/week program fee for books, conferences, hotels, etc.
TOTAL: $190/week is payroll deducted (payroll is bi-weekly). If hours of work/service do not cover this cost, the intern is still responsible for paying the amount due to Deer Run. However, this is not likely unless an intern has an excessive amount of time off.
